ABOUT MEMy name is Ming-Fai (Ned) Liu. I obtained my PhD from the School of Biological Science at the University of Hong Kong. I am a Botanist at Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden. I worked with Prof. Richard Saunders during my PhD study on flower-insect interactions, historical biogeography and niche evolution of tropical flowering plants. |
My research revolves around the Annonaceae, one of the dominant angiosperm lineages in tropical rainforests. I am particularly interested in flower-pollinator communications and interactions. My work also focuses on biogeography and how abiotic factors affect distribution of extant species. |
